Debate Competition on the topic “Relevanceof Gandhian Principles in Today’s World”
Communication is a fundamental need forhuman beings to sustain in the world. Having good communication skills plays amajor role in developing the overall personality or to make a personsuccessful. The debate is a discussion on a subject on which several peopleshare their different opinions, it can be favorable towards the topic or itcan be non-favorable. The students of P.G. English Literature, participated ina debate competition on 1st October 2018. There were two teams in thedebate. The students of both semesters were divided in favor and non-favorteams. The students gave various opinions to justify their points. The studentsof non-favor team won the competition. The debate competition was organisedunder the guidance of faculty members of the English Department, Ankita Tiwari,Chandan Kumar and Sewti Sahu.
